The following state criminal records resources are designed to help site visitors better understand the vast amount of background check resources available through the internet and related government entities.

Note: Subject's full name and date of birth is generally required; a few states also require SSN.
If criminal records are not available on a statewide basis, you will need to contact individual counties. In some states and counties, criminal records are available online.
